Captain Luis Lagrange took me out fishing for large mouthed bass in the Everglades last Tuesday. With the exception of a few trips off Montauk for tuna, I haven’t been fishing in over 60 years. Needless to say, I’m below being a novice. Start with how to cast with a spinning rod. In 3&1/2 hours I landed 15 bass; pretty unbelievable, right? Captain Lou deserves all the credit: patient, calm and ever so supportive. The topper was the attached photo; he got me to fight the fish calmly even though I had a heck of an adrenaline rush. It was between 4 & 4&1/2 pounds. WOW!!!

Amazing morning fishing with Capt. Lou! He’s a true expert. He’s patient and knows how to teach a couple of bass fishing novices to catch over 30 largemouth bass on artificial and live bait! Great experience and will be fishing a bunch more with him! Highly recommend him for all levels of anglers.

First time out with captain Lou. Very knowledgeable, super friendly, and never once did he stop taking care of us. Got my first peacock not ten minutes after the first stop. My wife caught one over 3lbs. Highly recommend. If there were 6 stars it would be a 10!

7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Went out with Captain Lou for a 4 hour trip. He immediately told me of a spot that should have some luck. And first cast, BAM - fish on. The rest of the day was similar as we pulled in over 20 fish. The trip didn’t go 4 hours as planned, it went closer to 5!! Cannot recommend or thank Captain Lou enough for the great morning
